Simply Elegant, Simply Timeless.

Since the dramatic season finale of the HBO Series Boardwalk Empire, I’ve been unable to stop thinking about the fabulous and classic fashion of the 1920s-1930s Prohibition era. 

Renowned styles from the Roaring 20s’ include shear fabrics, loosely fitted dresses,  embroidery, beaded embellishments, simple fabrics, simple silhouettes, and, of course The Flapper Look. Thoughtfully added accessories were a nice touch as a hat, brooch, fur scarf, or tear-drop earring. 

Whether is was a whimsical frock, daringly short and fun. Or a smart, stylish suit with silk stockings. These women had class to the rafters and I, for one, am taking notes ;-)
