Dressing for Florida

The Sunshine state in December can be tricky for achieving both style, and climatic comfort.  Temperatures soar to the 90s, but also can drop into the 50s, and if the wind picks up…Brrrrrrrrrrr! Wearing the correct attire is crucial to staying comfortable and stylish.

Today, a warm breezy day, I sauntered along the docks of the Indian River, photographing and soaking up the sun. I wore a bright, coral and white tie-dyed tank top by Old Navy (Goodwill), white denim cut-off shorts by Mossimo (Target), and Teal Grecian sandals (Target). Accessories included a thin brown braided belt (H&M), and Von Zipper Sunglasses.

Tucked in my hair, adding tropical appeal to the ensemble is a lavender colored Plumbago flower .
